September 23 2005 was a memorable night not to be forgotten anytime soon. It was the first officially show promoted by the LabNoise crew. For those of you who missed it, Widget started off the night with the street anthem “Money makes the world go round” and closed out his set by performing “Streets is the jury”. Even though the sound wasn’t of best quality, Widget managed to warm up the crowd and drew plenty heads nearer to the stage. Next up was Magnum357. Trust me when I tell you that he blew the mothafucking place up like a terrorist attack (I don’t mean to make light of terrorism, but if you were there you know what I mean). Mags didn’t hold any punches, you could feel the energy in the air as the crowd eagerly participated and echoed his lyrics, “My baby mama’s a BITCH ” (the crowd roared), if you haven’t heard the track yet stay tuned to www.labnoise.com. Last up was Black Mob who ended the show on a high note even though their set was cut short due to the show starting on BPT. All in all it was a great showcase for Up North prod, and a great coming out party for LabNoise prod. The LabNoise crew would like to take this time to personally thank Godfather D for doing the damn thing (the 2 mixers was an ingenious idea, ghetto fab). We would also like to thank the Owners and STAFF of the beautiful LOLA Lounge situated at 1023 Bleury corner of Viger. And last but definitely no least we would like to thank the crowd for coming out and supporting Montreal hip-hop, your feedback is greatly needed and appreciated
